The Supply Chain
Farming
Part of the milk used in our dairy comes from the Arrigoni family’s own cattle farm, located nearby. The farm has around 900 high-genetic-value cattle, including 500 lactating cows, and is known for its care and attention towards both animals and the environment.
All livestock are mainly fed with forage grown on our own land, ensuring a healthy and controlled diet that has a positive effect on the quality of the milk.
To meet the full milk requirements of our dairy, we also collaborate with certified farms located within a maximum radius of 30 km from our site. These partners share our high standards, and we’ve worked with many of them for over twenty years.
This synergy between our internal production and external partners allows us to offer high-quality dairy products, made with milk from reliable and sustainable sources, with full respect for tradition and the environment.

The social and economic development of a region cannot take place without the involvement of the local community and a healthy relationship between the company and its surroundings.
That’s why Arrigoni Battista has always been deeply rooted in the local area. In fact, for cheese production, we use milk only from farms located near the dairy, optimising collection routes and meeting cooling requirements.
All farms are PDO-certified and monitored to ensure animal welfare.
We have long-standing partnerships with most of our milk suppliers, guaranteeing the authenticity of our raw material. The same goes for our hauliers, who have worked with us for many years and take part in annual training programmes on proper milk collection procedures.
We carry out strict milk checks
Every day, milk samples are analysed according to quality procedures, and collection routes are regularly verified through on-site visits by qualified company staff.

To maintain constant supervision of these activities, our organisational chart includes the Milk Manager, who oversees all stages of raw material handling: from the farm to production.
This figure maintains relationships with suppliers and hauliers, schedules milk collection cycles, analyses lab parameters, ensures the right volumes and quality of milk in production, and evaluates new farms for inclusion in the collection network.
We also pay close attention to hygiene and animal welfare, in line with agreed standards, to always ensure the best possible quality of raw material.
